Those are LINK SHARING and BOOKMARKING websites used by millions of users on the internet.
Those links ALLOW such users to SHARE and BOOKMARK the thread in the profiles on those sites and SHARE the thread with OTHER USERS AROUND THE WORLD. IT IS NOT SPAM, it is a FORUM FEATURE which YOU should USE and encourage others to use as well.

nope. This is forum for mature and intense discussion. There are plenty of arenas and devices out there for "fast" discussion, but SDF isen't one of them.

Thanks for the suggestion. Chat would be nice but it doesn't fit our objective and focus as a Chinese Military and Defense discussions forum. Also, since we do not cater to the young audience who enjoy chatting rather than intellectually inspiring others and offering their opinion on military matters, I think it would undermine our efforts to have a vibrant China Defense Forum.

Yeah most of us have some instant messenger so add to the uncounted list of chatrooms out there, it shouldn't be a proplem to discuss with others in real-time.

Let me start by congratulating Dongfeng on a really good website with a wealth of information. Both the forum as well as the reference section are great and I refer to them frequently, both for work and for general interest.
Something I would like to suggest to the mods, who are also doing a great job, though is that a lot of people tend to quote the message that immediately preceded their's. I do not know about you but I find it quite irritating. I would appreciate to hear your thoughts on switching the policy to not quoting the last message.
