MOSCOW, January 16. /TASS/. The second contract to manufacture 13 Su-57 fighter jets for the Russian Aerospace Forces is to be signed next year, a source in Russia’s aircraft-making industry told TASS on Wednesday.

"In 2020, we plan to sign the second contract to manufacture and deliver 13 Su-57 fighter jets, some of them equipped with the second-stage engines," he said. "The preliminary timeframe for the new contract is five years."

The first contract envisages the delivery of two fifth-generation aircraft in 2019-2020.

"In line with the contract signed in 2018, one serial Su-57 jet with first-stage engines will be delivered to the Aerospace Forces this year, the other aircraft featuring the same type of engine - in 2020."
...

The improved radar comments I made are basically based on rumors.
There are talks about more advanced Gallium Arsenide or even Gallium Nitride T/R modules becoming available.

She really is the best looking (2nd to the YF-23 off-course). Has the induction been delayed to 2020?:(

?
Original N036 Belka already is a GaN radar.
It isn't even a secret.

Yeah, well that's Just like your Opinion Man.
Raptor is love!
That asymmetric nose IRST offends me.
AFAIK, it's finally a world-class a2a IRST, though.
So - permittable .

Yeah, Su-57 has some great angles. It's a pity Russia seems to be going down the French path of substituting new paint schemes for the production of actual airframes though.

Provide me a source that says it is GaN based. AFAIK, no one including the US has GaN radar put on a plane. That includes the APG-81 which is 3rd/4th generation AESA for the US. In comparison, Russia has not produced what would be considered a production ready AESA ready to put on a plane. I am not sure whether the Zhuk AE is dead of back to the drawing board. It is not easy putting together an AESA radar. Getting it right and assembling pieces together is not the same thing.

For example.

To be fair, sh-121 isn't installed on production fighter either.

Do you have a western source that the corroborate GaN based claim? Russians do claim a lot of things.
Russians also develop su-57. So primary sources are in russian anyways.
And this certain blog(bmpd) is one of the most reputable open sources out there, with links directly to the industry and/or military.
It's theirs:
