The AI-powered Hunt interceptor drone can predict a target's maneuvers.

The drone's maximum speed reaches 290 km/h, and its flight range is up to 40 km.
KAZAN, July 10. /TASS/. The Hunt interceptor drone, with its own artificial intelligence, is capable of independently predicting a target's maneuver. This was announced by a representative of the developer, Neat, at the Drone Expo 2026 International Exhibition and Forum in Kazan, according to a TASS correspondent.

"Our AI-powered interceptor drones feature not just machine vision, but a trained neural network based on our own DataSet. The drone works with a radar; after the target is squared, the onboard AI is activated, and the interceptor automatically targets the target. It can also predict its maneuvers," said a company representative.

Currently, the Hunt is primarily used against fixed-wing UAVs, but is also being developed to target heavy UAVs.
The interceptor can be launched from either hand-held or ground-based launchers. It has a maximum speed of 290 km/h, a cruising speed of 140 km/h, and a range of up to 40 km.

while the real air defense is updated to deal with ballistic missiles from 8 to 20 km. now imagine how much upgrades S350 got. that is more compact version of S500. and its export version from Korea is considered best in Mideast.

The Tula-based Pantsir-SM intercepted an American ATACMS ballistic missile for the first time.

The latest hypersonic missile with a kinetic warhead made it possible to carry out a kinetic interception
The hit-to-kill interception was accomplished using the latest 57E6M hypersonic two-stage anti-aircraft missile with a Zavesa kinetic warhead. The Pantsir-SM shot down the ATACMS missile as it attempted to attack a strategically important target at a distance of 8 to 20 kilometers from the complex. The missile was traveling at approximately 900 meters per second.

Thus, the Pantsir-SM anti-aircraft missile and gun system, at a range of up to 20 kilometers, demonstrates performance previously only available to the Patriot, SAMP-T, and Vityaz systems, which are tens of times more expensive than the Tula-made ZRPK. These performance figures will make the Pantsir-SM even more attractive on the global arms market.

If it go to target and do his task, I would not care about what push it there... Anything rugged enough and performing enough on the field is good enough during a long conflict of attrition. The funniest thing is that the R-95-300 engine was manufactured by Motor Sich in Ukraine.

I think its first time testing of two IL-96 testing moved to Far East. drones manufacturing and testing in Sakhalin. This spread of industrialization.

Il-96 aircraft will conduct test flights in the Khabarovsk region.

Specialists will evaluate the operation of the new onboard equipment.
Il-96-400M and Il-96-300 aircraft have arrived at Khabarovsk International Airport to conduct several test flights over the region. Specialists will evaluate the new onboard equipment and upgraded systems installed on the aircraft, reports the Khabarovsk Krai Today news agency.

noted that much depends on the progress of flight tests.
"Khabarovsk is a convenient and technically prepared testing site: the airport is designed to accommodate wide-body aircraft and has everything necessary for flight testing. A key advantage of the region is its geography: vast expanses and hard-to-reach areas make it possible to test onboard equipment and new systems in the very conditions for which they were designed," the company's press service reported.
The Il-96-400M is a modernized version of its predecessor, the Il-96-300. This domestically produced wide-body long-range aircraft made its maiden flight in 2023.
"The Il-96-400M differs from the Il-96-300 in that its fuselage is stretched by 9.35 meters—this is the main structural and visually noticeable change. The aircraft is equipped with more powerful PS-90A1 engines (instead of the PS-90A), as well as upgraded flight, navigation, and radio communications equipment. The Il-96-400M has a passenger capacity of up to 370 in a single-class configuration, while the Il-96-300 is designed to carry up to 300 passengers. The new aircraft's transport capabilities have been significantly expanded while maintaining high standards of reliability and safety," Rostec explained.
In addition, the modernized Il-96 is equipped with a Russian-made navigation system that complies with all required standards, allowing the aircraft to fly within the European Common Aviation Area, as well as over featureless terrain.
As a reminder, Russian Minister

stated that the domestically produced Il-96 is capable of nonstop flights between Moscow and Khabarovsk. The aircraft is capable of replacing long-haul Boeings and Airbuses on key Far Eastern routes.

Kravtsov called the opening of drone ports in the regions promising.

The development of unmanned aerial vehicles and transportation in general is very important, the Minister of Education noted.
YUZHNO-SAKHALINSK, July 4. /TASS/. The creation of drone ports, similar to the one opened on Sakhalin, is a promising area and is important for the development of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in Russia. Russian Education Minister Sergei Kravtsov told reporters during the Second International Forum of Unmanned Aircraft of All Environments "Wings of Sakhalin."

In 2025, the Pushisty airfield in the Korsakovsky district received the status of Russia's first official drone port. The infrastructure supports flights of various types of unmanned aerial vehicles and small aircraft.

"The opening of the first such airfield—a drone port—in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk is very important. I'm confident that similar sites will open in other cities. This is very promising, very important, and the development of unmanned aerial vehicles and transportation in general is a prospect, a future for which we must be prepared," Kravtsov said.

The Minister toured the forum's exhibition of cutting-edge technologies and visited the "Vzletay" festival site.

Motor Sich was bought by a Chinese company ... Then got nationalized by Ukraine, putting Ukraine in the bad side of the Chinese government.

AI targeting was the last thing outside observers were expecting but there was plenty of obvious clues that the Russians were employing these as early as 2022 and were refining it since then.

The first was being the Lancet which started like a long ranged winged FPV drone. At some point the targeting became autonomous and the drone became self tracking and self guiding towards the target. Then the Lancet became enabled to still lock onto a target despite camouflage and other stuff placed on the target to conceal it. The drone is hitting targets in concealed, not open, positions.

The second is the LMUR. The missile is moving at 250 meters per second and even with a TV camera on the nose, I find it hard to see the missile controlled by a joystick with the controller manually controlling it from a helicopter. It appears to me the missile is targeting and tracking autonomously, first by navigating to visual range of the target, then using AI to visually lock to the target. In contrast to the Hellfire which uses an MMW radar on its nose and uses radar guidance.

Now it explicitly says Su-34M as Airborne command post like a version of Airborne command center of Su-57D. there is engines that increase range. This maybe more effective than current Su-35.
This IRST against small UAVs from 25km for Yak-130M. it seems stealth and AWACS will become obsolete. this aero ballistic missiles proliferation will destroys high protected sites. its like long range glide bomb with bigger force.

A cut above: the SVO zone is preparing to use a serious trump card

MOSCOW, July 15 — RIA Novosti, Andrey Kots. The troops have received a batch of Su-30SM2 fighters and Su-34M fighter-bombers. These tactical aircraft were developed taking into account the experience of the Air Defense Forces and all the specifics of modern warfare. RIA Novosti reports on the notable features of the latest Su-30 modifications.

Shock worker and scout

The Su-34 fighter-bomber is the workhorse of the Aerospace Forces' strike aviation. Reliable, heavily armed, and maneuverable enough to evade even Patriot air defense missiles, the Su-34's main asset today is its heavy bombs with gliding and correction modules, used outside the enemy's air defense range. The enemy has yet to find a counter to this weapon.
The upgraded version of the Su-34M now features interchangeable pods with equipment for various types of reconnaissance: optical-electronic (UKR-OE), electronic (UKR-RT), and radar (UKR-RL). This allows it to independently detect ground, sea, and airborne targets at significantly greater ranges than before. The Su-34M can also act as an airborne command post, providing target designation to other aircraft and coordinating their actions.
The flight range has been increased thanks to the more fuel-efficient AL-31FM2 engines. The arsenal of precision-guided munitions has also been expanded, including the Kh-47M2 Kinzhal missiles. Previously, the Aerospace Forces only carried this weapon on the MiG-31K.

Yak-130M

The multifunctional X-band active phased array radar detects stealth aerial targets at ranges of up to 45 kilometers. The SOLT-130K overhead multispectral optoelectronic system detects aircraft-type targets at ranges of 55-65 kilometers, and small UAVs at ranges of 18-25 kilometers. For hunting drones, the aircraft will be armed with S-8L guided missiles and Igla-V missiles.

So aptly named after the Night Witches of World War 2. Soviet women piloted and crewed night bombers working on German lines.
