The Ukrainian soldiers who fought and died in this conflict will be regarded as heroes and martyrs, but the Russian ones will be the victims of the dehumanization and hatred by the West, despite being just as human. Its sad that they'll probably only be regarded as "Putin's incompetent army" and not human beings who left behind parents, wives, and children.

They can be "Putin's scary army", just need to GIT GUD!

KMS Bismarck took three torpedo hits, two of which caused minor damage and the last jammed its rudders.

Theoretically, the ship could have made it to port had it not been intercepted by the Grand Fleet and pummeled with several hundred heavy cannon shells.
Home Fleet. Grand Fleet was WW1 and fought the German High Seas Fleet at Jutland.

There has to be a lot more pictures of the Moskva and even longer videos. Especially one the shows the entire of the broadside where the damage is at before the fire consumed it. It will clearly reveal any entry points.

I guess we'll have to wait till they slowly trickle out. Until then we can have a 20 page discussions on theories and won't get anywhere.

Time to shelve this discussion and move on until more footage comes out.

Please, let us not give political opinions on this thread. We do not want this thread to be closed like the Ukrainian War Thread.

Minor nitpick, but kind of amusing how otherwise knowledgeable people word things when they might have an agenda. Last time I checked, the Neptune was a derivative of the Kh-35, yet this tweet make it seem like the Kh-35 is a copy.

Note that no one has been reporting that the Russians have been using a new dual targeting version of the Kh-35 for their airstrikes. This new version is capable of targeting both land and sea targets, similar to the dual targeting YJ-83 the PLAAF and PLAN seems to be incorporating recently. However the difference appears that while the YJ-83 is using a dual seeker, the Kh-35 is still using a single active radar guidance seeker. If they must be doing it with a K band or mm wave seeker to get that kind of resolution and clutter resistance.

Let's keep the thread purely military, please. We venture into politics or whatnot, we'll get slammed again. I'm very dubious about posting anything Russo-Ukrainian War here. There was a reason I asked for another thread way back and my concerns seem to have been born out.
