But not all of there fleet is operational and it's likeley that it will have to contract thatnks to a shrinking population, reduced Economic stance and equipment Age.

as for to busy with flooded citys. Never underestimate the Human ability to fued over seemingly meaningless things in a crisis situation, especialy when those humans have goverment titles.

Russia's fleet of icebreakers is by far largest in the world , and I'm talking about operational ships . It is unlikely this would change in near future:

As for declining population , this has rectified itself as they moved from decadent "democracy" to more Russian orientated Putin system (far from being perfect but much better then what they had under "democrats" ) :

Um, Admonis specifically states that Putin really can't take much credit for the shift, which a large share of the responsibility goes to the large 1980s cohort coming of childbearing age.

The Indian MIg-29K deal for the Vikramaditya has cemented the future of the Mig-29K. The Russians will use for their KUznetsov and future carriers, and the Indians will end up buying enough to outfit three carriers. Ultimately at least five air wings, if not more.

What a turnaround in mikoyan's fortune. For a while it looked like sukhoi was going to conquer all in the Russian fighter game, and mikoyan was going to be relegated to the status of a has been, like yakovlev.

Yep..all of these Mig-29K builds for India and Russia will keep them viable for quite a few years...but they really need to land another order.

PAKFA as it stands has a tennis ball size RCS, while Su-35 a soccer ball size RCS

The fifth-generation T-50 fighter has a top speed of more than 2,500 km/h, as well as artificial intelligence–the plane is able to perform complex operations without the aid of the pilot. The T-50 also has automatic target recognition, and special transceiver electronics are designed to inform the pilot of potential threats.

That's strange, why are they looking for a third partner (besides India) to develop the T-50? Are they running out of money?
Business, money they are not the Soviet Union bartering for aircraft like they did 50 years ago, China for example paid for MiGs with goatskins, now Russia wants money, only that since some technologies will be kept secret

Yes is I know it's business, but my question is why is Russia in need of a third partner to help fund for it's T-50 project? Why can't they do it all by themselves like China and the US?

Russia is undoubtedly trying to reduce India's leverage. To be honest, Russia is really not very willing to share its core aircraft design know how with India. But India is currently paying for 50% of the project, and has substantial leverage over the Russians to pry from Russia more technology sharing, and more of the sort of design cooperation that forces Russian aircraft industry to review some of its crown jewels.

So Russia is trying to reduce India's leverage by finding alternatives to Indian financing.

Russia is better off getting paid in barter good. Dollar and Euro are almost certain be devalued. Give me goatskins please.

hahaa, just watched the video, "Chinese paid us in down jackets, but the jackets were stolen from us". wear the jackets home next time :)
