Nah! the old thread is gold, I put a lot of hard work into my posts, lots of that discussion is very relevant, in spite of certain posts that are non-sense?? but lets not throw the baby out with the bathwater, its time to re-open the thread, there seem to be some recent developments, and hopefully the new prototype will be flying soon?

The Russian Defense Ministry promotes International Military Technology Forum "Armed Forces 2015"
(defensa.com) Between 16 and 19 June, at the Convention and Exhibition Center of the Ministry of Defense, located in Kubinka (Russia), International Military Technology Forum "2015 Armed Forces" will be held. The event, sponsored by the Ministry of Defence in cooperation with Rostec and the Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos), meet in a pavilion of 40,000 m2 (plus 100,000 for outdoor displays) to more than 500 exhibitors.
The goal, according to the Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation Sergei Shoigu, is "to explore the possibilities of scientific organizations, defense industry, weapons and technology from Russia and other countries." In addition, a scientific and business program that involves a series of scientific conferences, seminars, plenary sessions, panel discussions and presentations of new technologies will be performed. Meanwhile, Colonel General Pavel Popov, Deputy Minister of Defense stated that "The Forum will be a major event at the state level during the commemoration of the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War"
