A Mi-28 would not do a good job with it's gun turret ? I know that the black sea fleet don't have that model but damn, can they just spare a couple for that ?

The Mistral deal is gone but they are building the Project 23900 LHDs.
We will see how fast they can get it done, they have probably other priorities right now but it look like they push all over the board for modernization. They talk about 2028 and 29 for commissioning these 2 ships. Still a long way to go.
