Another batch of fifth-generation Su-57 and Su-35S aircraft has been delivered to the Russian Air Force. The number of aircraft is not reported. It also became known that as part of the expansion of production capacity, to increase the production volumes of fifth-generation aircraft, the construction of an additional workshop has begun, where Su-57 systems will be tested. Previously, work was completed to expand the flight test station. Today, the Su-57 is considered the most modern frontline aviation aircraft

The Russian army has started using FPV drones with thermite ammunition in Ukraine. Similar drones were previously spotted in the Ukrainian army. The composition of the thermal mixture is unknown, but Ukrainian drones use the ZAB-2.5P incendiary element from the Soviet incendiary bomb cassettes of the RBK ZAB series. Most likely, the Russian drone also has an incendiary element from a similar series. The incendiary elements of the ZAB-2.5 series are capable of burning through up to 5 mm of steel. Technical details of the FPV drones are not reported.

As part of the military exercises "Ocean-2024", the Russian Ministry of Defense, for the first time showed the interception of the Russian anti-ship missile P-270 "Moskit", which was used as a target. Fire was conducted on the missile Kh-41/P-270 from the SAM "Redut", installed on the Russian corvette of Project 20380. The anti-ship missile P-270 "Moskit" was shot down by the anti-aircraft missile 9M96D at an altitude of about 20 meters. The anti-ship missile Kh-41/P-270 is quite a difficult target, its speed can reach 3460 km/h, which is 2.5 times faster than all currently used NATO anti-ship missiles, in addition, it can perform anti-aircraft maneuvers.

Naval moskit and air launched moskit is actually bit different tho.. it even made by different company. Naval was NPO Mashinostroyenia, while the Airborne "Kh41" was by Raduga. The naval one afaik was designated P-80 Zubr.

I decided to have piece of mind for people that somehow obsessed with Su-57's apparent "rivets"

TLDR.. It's not much of a problem and can be easily dealt with, we also have no idea on the specification of the fasteners.. yes they're fasteners as the panel location people OCD'ing it is near the IRST, can't put rivet there otherwise you cannot maintain the IRST. There is "stealth" fasteners that can be tailored to meet conductivity continuation needs or even made out straight of low observable material.

The Russians are now using the new BAZ truck mounted Uragan MLRS in Ukraine.

This enables them to use an in production vehicle to replace the older Uragan trucks. They should be much easier to maintain since unlike the old ZIL trucks these are still in production. It also uses a single engine instead of two in the ZIL so there are less parts to take care of. The engine should also have more durability. The new truck should have higher speeds in paved roads.

I think eventually they will upgrade the launcher and the missiles. The Uragan missiles have similar diameter to the TOS missies. And NPO Slav has experience with upgrading them to increase their range, modify their warhead, and other such modifications.

Video inside of mothership drone launching FPV drone like a glide bomb. FPV range increased to 40km. but this larger drone can only be used effectively when air defense is depleted.

For the first time.. The Russian army strikes the enemy using a drone carrying FPV drones (video)

This system of Russian drones has made the effectiveness of the so-called Ukrainian "front-line electronic warfare" (EW) close to zero.

Ukrainian media reported that the Russians used this tactic for the first time, which increased the range of Russian FPV drones to 40 kilometers The mothership also served as a relay station for command and video signals. The proximity of the mothership to its drones reduces the effectiveness of electronic warfare devices to zero,

some info about Su-34 that new. most of specifications are closer to reality but this two things stand out. it can carry 13 bombs and 500 Km aerial survey from PESA radar that is compared to B-1B APQ-164. the sequence of pics is not correct. They are not saying about range ability of more advanced poded system under fuselage.

Footage of a Russian underground military base in the Kherson region. The base is used for re-equipping, retraining and combat training of personnel of the Dnipro group of troops. The base is reportedly located at a depth of about 8 meters, it is camouflaged and almost impossible to detect from drones and satellites. There are rest areas for soldiers, classrooms, a weapons room, a utility room, a bathhouse, a shower, a kitchen, a canteen, storage and living quarters. The main purpose of the base is to restore the combat capability of units that have been on the front lines for a long time.

An episode from the Russian film "Rembat", which tells about the work of servicemen of the repair units of the Russian army. You can find the full video online. The video shows the Russian T-90M "Proryv" tank and the replacement of the tank's turret. The video shows the removal of the turret from the T-90M "Proryv" tank, its chassis was damaged, and the installation of the turret on another tank, with an intact chassis. The operation to replace the turret is carried out in field conditions, which is quite difficult, usually this is done at the factory.
