Dropping and strikes of Russian FAB-500 gliding bombs in Ukraine. Rare footage of Russian FAB-500M62 air bombs being dropped in Ukraine, equipped with universal planning and correction modules. The video shows the process of opening the wings on the FAB-500M62 bombs and its strikes on targets. Gliding bombs are dropped from a Russian Su-34 aircraft. The UMPC bomb module includes special wings that fold out in flight and a wind drift correction system. UMPC modules for air bombs are equipped with jamming-resistant Kometa-M receivers to protect them from the effects of electronic warfare interference. The use of aerial bombs equipped with a planning module makes it possible to strike with bombs at a distance of up to 70 kilometers, while the aircraft is not included in the air defense zone.

Sorry for the stupid question, but what homing mechanism do these bombs employ?

Reduce the GDP by 1/3 (minimum) due to change in exchange rate RBY/USD and only oil and gas rich Sakhalin and Magadan are above Chinese provinces in nominal terms in a region populated by approx. 6 million people. Russia has already struggled to increase investment in those regions and now it will be even harder.
Agree with rest of post, but why adjust GDP per capita upwards for Chinese side when nominal GDP tends to understate level of Russian economic output even more so than for China.

Should be by GLONASS but may alternatively use GPS and Beidou.

In other news, this will affect both Russians and Ukrainians however this may not affect Mavics. What this can affect are quadcopters big enough to drop mortars and grenades, a tactic both sides love to use, and fixed wing drones like the Mujin series that Ukrainians love to use to attack the Russians with. The ban takes effect this coming September 1 and will last for two years.

Can Russia manufacture their own parts en masse at this point? If so and a bit off topic, the only one who is getting screwed is Ukraine.

The Russians should have designed one long ago, and one that is using legacy fab techniques. If not, there's a ton of generic GPS chips from the Chinese market, but its more likely that the Russians are using their own, as they tend to be obsessive about self production. For drones, they have been trying to manufacture their own Mavic clones and bomb dropping quadcopters since last year, and I won't be surprised if they are already operational, just not admitted. Its kind of like the way the Russians admitted domestically making and using FPV drones suddenly after they were feat accompli.

Long-range self-propelled guns Coalition-SV of Russia became serial, review of self-propelled guns 2S35. Serial production of the Russian self-propelled guns 2S35 "Coalition-SV" has begun, the troops will soon begin to use the installation, since the army is now in dire need of a long-range self-propelled guns. The 2S35 self-propelled guns began to be produced in 2013, but in small batches, due to technical problems in the implementation of mass production of self-propelled gun components and ammunition. The self-propelled guns are based on a modified chassis of the main T-90 tank and have a mass of 48 tons. SAU 2S35 is the most ambitious artillery project in Russia. Since it is fully automated and outperforms Western models in terms of firing range, this is a transitional project to a fully robotic artillery. The machine is fully automated to open fire, the crew just needs to press a button and the computer will carry out all the calculations, deploy the gun, and the automatic loader will feed the shells. Self-propelled guns "Coalition SV" with a 2A88 gun, 52 caliber, can hit targets when firing a Krasnopol rocket at a distance of up to 70 km. The self-propelled guns can operate in the fire raid mode, in simple terms, 16 shells per minute are fired at different gun elevation angles and they simultaneously reach the target, because of this the enemy does not have time to change position. The self-propelled guns can operate in a single digital automated command and control system, and its calculation of 3 people is protected by the same capsule as that of the T-14 Armata tank. The self-propelled guns are equipped with 12.7 Kord machine guns and sensors signaling laser irradiation. Self-propelled guns ammunition 70 shells, some are suitable for self-propelled guns "Msta-S". The price of the Coalition-SV self-propelled guns is unknown, but it is about three times more expensive than the Msta-S self-propelled guns.

Well, where you're getting those descriptions for the videos?

The 70km range claim has been around for a while and apparently quoted by numbers of outlets.. one includes globalsecurity

The thing regarding Krasnopol tho.. Current Russian artillery can only fire it for 20 Km... and more like 43 for Krasnopol-D. The limit now however is apparently the artillery. The Krasnopol-D can go for more but the current MSTA cannot utilize the shell beyond that 43 km range.

This VPK article claimed that new 2A88 gun for Koalitsiya can finally utilize the range potential of the Krasnopol-D albeit claimed it at bit lower 60 km range.

The partners plan to organize the production of a line of aircraft-type drones with the ability to take off and land vertically. There is an assessment of the potential of a number of solutions in the range of payload mass from 20 to 200 kg.

“UAC is consistently developing its competencies in the field of unmanned aerial systems. Today we are working on a number of off-airfield-based transport drone projects. The interaction of UAC, which has significant experience and developments in the aircraft industry, with Glory Air, which has expertise in light UAVs, will allow us to form a popular line of solutions and claim significant positions in the Russian market,” commented Yury Slyusar, General Director of UAC, commented on the creation of a joint venture.

Russia has created a material that will make drones invisible to electronic warfare

According to Gleb Shipunov, a leading researcher at PNRPU, the system will also include special means of communication that will transmit data using photons, not radio waves.
