Kurganmash basically doubled production of new and upgraded BMP vehicles.

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu announced a two-fold increase in the supply of Ka-52 helicopters to the ranks of army aviation. Deliveries of Mi-28s have tripled.
Deliveries of UAVs "Orlan-10" and "Orlan-30" increased by 53 times. The Uralvagonzavod enterprise was able to increase the supply and overhaul of T-72 and T-90 tanks by 3.6 times.

Are BTR-82As brand new chassis? Or are they retrofitting old BTRs?
Truly a secret weapon in the literal sense. Very little information has been released and Russians keeping it a secret. Yet it may already have been deployed for the last four months and may have already played a crucial part in recent battles.
