The use of the Supercam S350 UAV by the Russian army, an overview. Footage of the assembly and launch of the Russian multi-purpose Supercam-S350 UAV by Russian military personnel has been published. The S350 UAV was developed by Unmanned Systems and is made in an aircraft-type configuration. The UAV is capable of performing many tasks, such as aerial photography and aerial photography of the area, the implementation of observation, patrol and monitoring flights. High stability and good controllability allow the use of the Supercam UAV in adverse weather conditions. The S350 has an autopilot and carries out automatic flight according to a given program, has the ability to hover over an object and automatically return to a given point. The UAV can use up to three payloads simultaneously, including a thermal imager, a radiation background measurement sensor, and a laser gas analyzer. The duration of the UAV flight is up to 4.5 hours with the transmission of information at a distance of up to 100 km, at a speed of up to 120 km/h. The maximum flight range is at least 240 km at an altitude of up to 5000 meters. The UAV is launched from a catapult and lands using a parachute.

Checking military arsenals began in Russia. Against the backdrop of a multiple increase in the production of military products, Russia began checking military arsenals. Inspections are also ongoing on the implementation of the state defense order at the enterprises of the military-industrial complex in the Omsk region for the production of tanks and heavy flamethrower systems. The head of the Russian Defense Ministry was informed that all armored vehicles at the Omsktransmash enterprise have been modified to meet modern requirements for tank protection, and the volume of output has increased significantly. The footage also shows the echelon with new T-80BVM tanks and the factory equipment of the upgraded tanks with visors against drones. The protection of tanks certainly looks awkward, but at the moment, cheap and effective protection of the tank turret from kamikaze drones has not been invented. Based on the results of the inspection of military enterprises, instructions were given to further increase the output of military products.

4.5 hours flight time and 100 km transmission range is very capable. I expect this type to the primary Russian recon drone in the coming years.

Kinda like Decades eh, until the Su-37 deriviatives finally receive something which isnt underpowered. The Su-37 was the ancestor of the Su-30MKI,MKA,MKM and then SM. They were supposed to receive uprated AL-31F. But shit happens during the development, necessitating jury rigged engine which became the AL-31FP.

The SM-2 is what Su-37 should be and even better with Irbis-E and that fancy L-band radar in leading edge.

The industry has doubled the production of army aircraft
10.07.2023
Aircraft factories in Irkutsk, Komsomolsk-on-Amur and Novosibirsk have doubled the production of Su-30SM and Su-35S fighters, as well as Su-34 front-line bombers for deliveries to the Russian Ministry of Defense. Vladimir Artyakov, First Deputy General Director of the Rostec State Corporation, said this in an interview with the Rossiya 24 TV channel.

“For some positions, we also doubled the number of combat aircraft that we issue to the Ministry of Defense. These are aircraft such as the Su-30, Su-34, Su-35 - they are very effective on the line of contact. We are ready to further increase the volume. Everything will depend on what the Ministry of Defense will order us,” he said.

According to Vladimir Artyakov, the enterprises are fulfilling the state defense order in full, deliveries for some items are ahead not only in terms of timing, but also in quantity. He clarified that we are talking primarily about armored vehicles and artillery.
Earlier, in late June and early July, in Irkutsk and Komsomolsk-on-Amur, the KLA handed over Su-35S and Su-30SM2 fighters to the Russian Aerospace Forces. Aircraft from factory airfields flew to their bases.

They delivered 4x Su-57 aircraft last year. 10x thus far. Planned deliveries until end of 2024 were supposed to be 22 aircraft.
To meet that deadline they would have to deliver another 12 aircraft i.e. at least 6 per year.

We had access to a leak from KnAAZ several years ago which stated yearly production was supposed to be 4x aircraft in 2021, 4x in 2022, then 7x afterwards, and 12x following that.

I assume this will go similar to the Flanker deliveries i.e. they deliver aircraft in batches of 3 or 4 airplanes. I would expect them to deliver two batches, one of 4, another of 3 aircraft, this year, and same thing the next year. With production ramping up to 12 aircraft a year afterwards. i.e. a squadron a year.

These will likely be going into mixed regiments with Su-57 and Su-35 squadrons.

The system for capturing targets of the T-90M "Proryv" tank of Russia. A Russian serviceman explained how the automatic target acquisition system works in the T-90M Proryv tank. The digital fire control system with automatic target tracking mode itself rotates the turret of the Russian T-90M "Breakthrough" tank and calculates all the adjustments, the crew only has to fire a shot.

Russian anti-UAV complex "Kupol PRO". The Russian UAV countermeasure system Kupol-PRO was shown by a representative of the manufacturer Avtomatika Concern JSC. The complex "Kupol-PRO" of circular action is capable of operating in 10 frequency bands and suppressing the navigation, control and data transmission channels of drones at a distance of up to 4 kilometers. The effective radiated power of the complex is 80 watts. The weight of the complex is 4 kilograms.
