I doubt that high speed rail construction of that size and scope will happen any time soon. They kept delaying expansion of high speed rail and metro at a time they weren't even doing this massive war spending. The Russian government still needs to fund massive projects like rebuilding the civilian airliner industry, expanding the BAM railway, and expanding the gas pipeline network including the Power of Siberia 2.

Russia is not competitive just in hard metrics like steel and electricity production. They also have lots of STEM graduates each and every year.

It is pretty ridiculous when they compare the Russian economy with Italy's or whatever. Russia has an economy roughly in between the size of those of Germany and Japan. Closer to Japan's economy than Germany's. But that is even before you take the MIC into consideration. Japan cannot produce large modern aviation gas turbine engines, fighter aircraft, by itself like Russia can for example. Or nuclear powered submarines.

They will start building factory for manufacturing in 2024 or after. so how can they implement some thing when there is no factory before?
Putin has full understanding of demographic trends and the real size of urban centers with disposable income that need to be connected. he is not going to make illogical decision. 87% of freight goes on railway. He is building new road network to create redundancy incase railway has breakdown.
when you put more freight traffic on Trucks than you also need to have Mosques which works like unofficial hotels. Russia has one of largest construction of mosques. those long haul drivers comes from CIS, Iran and Turkey.

BAZ is working on their new large truck.



GAZ released a new 12t truck with a Russian engine and gearbox.



I would say the Russian car manufacturers are doing fairly well. But there is still a hole in terms of production by the foreign car factories which left Russia. However they mostly did low effort assembly where cars were put together that came from parts kits. At best most of these factories just stamped and painted the car body to take advantage of government tax credits.

Russian high-speed trains will be driven by artificial intelligence

The design of a section of the high-speed railway (HSR) route between Moscow and Kazan has been completed, TASS reports with reference to Oleg Toni, Deputy General Director of Russian Railways. – The next one is Moscow-Kazan-Ekaterinburg. Design for the first section “Moscow-Kazan” has been completed, the route has been included in the territorial planning scheme of the Russian Federation,” the speaker noted.
The production of electric trains will be import-independent. The construction is carried out by Sinara - Transport Machines jointly with Russian Railways. Assembly of the train is planned to begin in 2026.

Putin has instructed the Republic of Tatarstan to take over patronage of these cities which once had a combined population of approximately 200,000. The figure is now probably only a quarter of that.

Products from Tatarstan have appeared in the stores. Doctors, electricians, musicians, plumbers, and public administrators from the far-away republic have been brought in to work in Lysychansk and Rubizhne, and you can hear Tatar spoken on the streets.

Money from the Tatarstan budget is being used to rebuild these cities that were all but destroyed by the Russian army.

Russian run hospital and clinics are expected in UAE but i am not sure how they got to 10,000 doctors per year number rotation. regardless they are going to compete with West.

Experts named the cities that will overtake Moscow in terms of housing price growth in 2023
The top three in terms of price growth on the secondary market since the beginning of the year were Chelyabinsk, Volgograd and Rostov-on-Don. Moscow is in tenth place in the ranking

Chelyabinsk topped the rating of Russian cities with a population of over a million in terms of price growth on the market for secondary housing since the beginning of 2023, compiled for the editors of RBC Real Estate by analysts of the Avito Real Estate service.

By the end of November 2023, the average price of 1 sq. m on the secondary market of the city amounted to 85.6 thousand rubles, which is 36.4% more than at the beginning of January.

Volgograd took second place, where the average price per square meter in the finished housing market has increased since the beginning of the year by 23.25%, to 86.3 thousand rubles. Rostov-on-Don was in third position with an increase in the average price of 1 sq. m. m by 18.3%, to 110.4 thousand rubles.
