"Russia" and "developing domestic economy" dont go together. Never did. Not then, and defintely not now with this war happening

Unless something dramatic happens, Russia is destined to just be a raw material and energy supplier to China
Russia has highly developed domestic economy for itself.
This video was filmed by much younger uzbek singer during mobilization time and also changed cloths not lazy like in one cloth . she ignored the war. do you think this culture attraction happened in empty space. its really hard to attract women if they are of different religion and singing around there own culture all the time.

Russia won't have Chinese level industrial independence anymore, but they definitely build industries using Chinese imported tools.

So they won't have a semiconductor tool industry, but can definitely produce semiconductor devices for domestic use. They still have a oil/gas industry with domestic fittings, pipe, compressor, etc. production to capture the entire value chain, but might need some imported machine tools.

Russian science is at the level of Spain, South Korea and Brazil, showing that Russia's true potential GDP per capita lies in that region, and can get higher with better machine tool inputs, just like South Korea and Spain, both of whom import machine tools for their industries.

These are absolute numbers of churned out research papers, they have little to do with GDP per capita but overall size of economy. Even among the three you mentioned, Brazil has GDP per capita lower than Russia. Another example, India being at 7th place does not mean that their true GDP per capita lies in the region of France and Japan.

Where does Russia rank in terms of top 10% and top 1% cited papers? I only found info on the

This is the origin of that data:

So apparently now Russia is ranked behind Brazil, Turkey and Iran in % of highly cited papers.

Spain, South Korea and Brazil does not have science. If there was no Russia. South Korea would be another Malaysia assembling Japanese TVs. why do you think Brazil sent Embarer to Tsagi?

When Russian and Arab Royals met during Covid. one side had Western Vaccines the other side had Russian vaccines. they know the higher level of medical science of each other so there is level of trust. that Aurus komendant vehicle came out in Golden color the video that i posted. There is a reason so much Gold platting on Russian Airforce 1 both in older generation and newer generations IL96. i used plural. Wealth need to be practically demonstrated at both government and people level. Debt ridden consumers will not get any respect. so the whole GDP per capita comparison is moot point. . These Arabs highlight some things and some not

Russia currently can run its civil aviation industry even with 100% embargo from West but what Russia cannot do is provide thousands of Planes to Arab world to replace Boeing and Airbus. That part is a decade away. the same approach they applied to higher end Aurus Automobile as low volume will be testing ground of new technologies that will be later spread to lower end brands once factories are established for Russian engineering. The problem is consumers that can pay are used to Japanese level of Automobile reliability and quality. which is further reinforced with so many flights to Mideast where only one brand matter in those sand dunes.

they do things in fundamental way to make things technical sovereign. it takes time but it is not half backed.

The technologies of multi-chip modules are a promising tool for the miniaturization of all kinds of microelectronic and radio-electronic equipment. It is extremely important that in this direction we managed to achieve complete import substitution and lay the foundation for the further development of such devices,” said Sergey Skorykh, General Director of the Vega Concern.

I'm generally Ok with Russia but lol, you guys make cars whose doors don't even open

4:00 - Putin arrives at Lada plant for a visit

4:02 - First random car he picks, the trunk door doesn't open.

4:20 - Same car doesn't start despite Putin turning the key multiple times.

4:50 - Different car passenger door doesn't open, handrail breaks off.

5:18 - Lin smiles about how terrible Lada is.

Yes, you help Brazil with Embraer's aerodynamic modeling, but it doesn't take supercomputers to build a car with doors that work and can turn on lmao.

These are car designed for this price range with minimum complexity and R&D and that is its intended objective.

I will predict his response with 99% certainty: "Jai Russia, Arabs hurr-durr". Now you can safely skip the further conversation.
