They are working so well that Russia is only seeing 4% gdp drop and much less inflation than other countries. While Europe at the same time is going into recession approaching that and is permanently losing their industries. One could easily add that Germany's losses are permanent and Russia's losses can be regained later when chinese firms are able to freely set up local production there
Russian official inflation is higher than that in major European countries or the US tho -

. But yeah, a mere 4% recession for such large-scale sanctions is certainly not what the Western countries hoped to achieve, so they are now coping by trying to paint this small recession as catastrophical... Europe itself will undergo a similar recession in the range of 1-3% (and worse in chihuahua countries).

That's a smaller recession than they had in 1998 when GDP shrank by 4.9% and inflation was at 84%. In terms of inflation in 2022, Russia is just above the European Union average of 11.5%. I still don't know about the economic growth of the European Union, but there is clearly a tendency for reductions in the growth projections of the vast majority of EU member countries.

AvtoVAZ sold 12.5% more Lada cars in November than in October

Compared to last year, the indicator decreased by 16%

Moscow. November 30th. INTERFAX.RU - AvtoVAZ sold about 21.5 thousand Lada cars in Russia in November. According to Interfax, AvtoVAZ's sales growth in November 2022 compared to October was about 12.5%, with a year-on-year decline of about 16%.

"Sales now lag behind production. As for AvtoVAZ products, in November they will probably be somewhere within the range of 21.5 thousand cars," the head of the company, Maxim Sokolov, told reporters on the sidelines of the Russian Industrialist forum.

According to the Association of European Businesses (AEB), in October this year, the automaker sold a little more than 19.1 thousand cars on the Russian market, in November last year - a little less than 25.6 thousand units.

As reported, according to the results of January-October 2022, AvtoVAZ sold 142,091 vehicles in the Russian Federation, which is 51.5% less than in the same period last year. Market share increased to 28.4% (+5.4 p.p.)

The shareholders of AvtoVAZ after Renault left the Russian Federation are FSUE NAMI (67.7%) and the state corporation Rostec (32.3%), which control the company through LLC Lada Auto Holding.

what is real official inflation. when % age of home ownership of society will be much higher than most Western countries that translate to higher disposable income. even airline tickets will be cheaper in Russia. Arabs understand this thing thats why they cater to this high disposable income. more cities and airlines are constantly added.

gas prices as percent of monthly income is 4% in Russia. Germany is 1.9% but German practically force you to buy unreliable European cars. Russian can buy used Japanese/korean cars.

Are you serious? There are literally thousands if not millions of surplus new Japanese and Korean cars in China at any given time.
i said its models and quantity of cars that in demand. you have to look at engine size of particular models. Most closer models are Japan made vehicles in Middleast.
