EngineAI dropped a new video

I think it's not too late for China to pass a law to mandate that humanoid robots must remain naked or in jumpsuits with specific colours and signs. Dressing humanoid robots in plain clothes without permits should be banned as a crime.

The Roman Senate considered making slaves wear a uniform but decided not to because then the slaves would realise how many of them there were and might revolt. Perhaps the same applies here?

If the robots of this decade can empathize, we the humans would have a bigger fish to fry.

Well looking at her videos she’s posted, she’s more like the typical American that only follows American news and events. She’s surprised by China’s rise because she was only listening to the propaganda. The US is nowhere near where Americans think they’re at because their Achilles Heel is the usual which it’ll be too expensive especially against the competition. Western companies have to talk big because the main driver these days is how much money they can people to invest. So Western robotics will be something mostly used by the government because they’ll have to given their paranoia and is the only one that can afford it. More expensive means the less they will have.

Being the end of the year, the Western media is coming out with predictions for the next year. I think it was the Economist that is predicting that 2025 is where we’ll find out if AI turns out to be a bust. They say so much has been invested into AI but only 5% of businesses say they’re using it. Remember Amazon said they were employing it and it turned out they were outsourcing Indians and calling that AI. The US has a lot big talk but it’s more about investing in a future to get money now not actually the state of reality today.
