Mates, totally off-topic. Planning to surprise my wife with a trip to Las Vegas this summer, but I'm getting stuck during my hotel search. Can't find anything that is on the one hand affordable and on the other hand not too shabby. Only found a few websites (e.g.

), but I don't know if they are trustworthy. Do you maybe have any recommendations?

If you're paying by credit card you can dispute the charges if they rip you off. Remember the credit card company let them use their service so if they rip you off, they're responsible too. Might want to check with the credit card company what they will do for you. Also after you make your reservation you can always check with the hotel yourself to confirm. Summer time will definitely be more expensive.

Thank you, the Internet connection worked except of in the tunnels :) The biggest event for me was when my left elbow got lightly hit by a minibar trolley :) (will be getting off in a couple of minutes)
I'm afraid things will get worse tomorrow (a return trip in the afternoon)

I don't like to repeat myself, but: HAPPY EASTER, SDF! :)

Happy belated Easter brother, and I hope the peace of Jesus fills your heart and life with Joy, I hope you did make it to mass and I hope you sense God's presence and power in your life tonight!

Well, I have been gone on business for several days and so I though I would share some of my adventures here in the Rocky Mountains:

Visit to Jackson Reservoir Dam, Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, 2014-0423

American Buffalo in Teton National Park, Wyoming, 2014-0422

Pretty tough duty that! LOL!

Incredible places, Jeff ... plenty of snow so I checked and: Elevation 6,293 ft (1,918 m)

and now I know how to pronounce Boise :)
Thanks, Jura.

Those places I show there in the videos are all over 400 miles (about 650 km) away from Boise. but they are still a part of my own responsibilities.

I have created a photo album of my site survey trip this week too:

So guys do we have a mig-29 thread, I took some pictures of two of the civilian Mig-29s in the country, the one we wanted to see was locked away in a hangar, as was the Mig-21, anyway, there were several L-39s on the flight line, as well as the two older 29s. We flew up there yesterday, on the Flanker thread I noted that Putin and Obama likely have a deal here in Central Obamastan, for a secret soviet airbase. Anyway, they are cell phone pix, and I have a hard time seeing my screen in the bright sunlight. I did get some close ups of the nozzles, etc that are OK. I have a photo bucket acct, so I will try to load them there???? but do we have a mig-29 thread, and NO I don't want to start a thread for a dozen airplane pictures that no one will ever see, that drives me CRAZY, that some on here are SO STINKING ANAL about their threads. I think some people need to look up Webster's definition of FORUM, its about conversation, not pretty pictures, end RANT. brat

I'm great Jura, as noted we took a little trip in Dan's 1972 C-150 to Quincy, Il, where a gentlemen has a private air-force with at least 3 Mig-29s, a Mig 21, and various and sundry L-39s, CJ-6s, etc. I wish you could have been with us, and I was thinking of you in particular when I got such a jazz out of looking at, and being able to see some of the physical features and touch the aircraft, I'm sure you and I could have had a great discussion, where I would have learned something interesting..... I always loved the Mig-29, F-15, were my two favorites until the Flanker came along---we also did have 2 Flankers in Northern Obamastan, but I understand they have been sold to other private owners???? Have a great day, and thank you for posting the definition, it does make my point, this sight has so many threads it makes your head spin, and the search function, like most search functions, is virtually useless if you are looking for something specific???

Did you get any pics my friend? I hope you did, I would love to see some of those aircraft.

I would love to visit such a site some dayu.

It would be great for someone to have the Mig-29 next to a F-16, and a SU-27 next to a F-15.

That would be a great museum site, and then one day when you and I are really old and frail, they could add a PAK-FA an, a J-20, and an F-22...but we may not live to see those.
