Totally agree with you BD.
These things are little toxic time bombs just ticking away in your body if left un-dealt with.
I had spent the previous few weeks complaining about being tired and a bit run down. I had put it down to a busy winter and the fact that I am starting to get on. In reality it seems that I was feeling the early effects of the toxins being released by this blasted tooth!

Point being, that even before these things turn acute, they will be already affecting you and slowing you down!

Exactly.. take care of it now before..

Many people neglect dental care because it's expensive, and dental insurance coverage is not that great.

Yep.. this and laziness wound up costing me about $4300 bucks total for my new choppers..Ouch!!

SDF, I'm connected from a train (saying this because I'm in in the 2nd class :) on the way to the region where I was born and had lived until 18 ... will even attend to Mass tomorrow ... so Happy Easter! :)

My wife calls me the tooth Nazi since I insist that everyone in the family go in for a cleaning and exam every 4months. It also gets the children accustom to seeing the dentist and not being afraid.

Thank you, the Internet connection worked except of in the tunnels :) The biggest event for me was when my left elbow got lightly hit by a minibar trolley :) (will be getting off in a couple of minutes)
I'm afraid things will get worse tomorrow (a return trip in the afternoon)

I don't like to repeat myself, but: HAPPY EASTER, SDF! :)

Mates, totally off-topic. Planning to surprise my wife with a trip to Las Vegas this summer, but I'm getting stuck during my hotel search. Can't find anything that is on the one hand affordable and on the other hand not too shabby. Only found a few websites (e.g.

), but I don't know if they are trustworthy. Do you maybe have any recommendations?

Anything on the strip would be nice, but definitely go with the famous ones, like MGM Grand, Mirage, Luxor, Paris, Venetian, Caesars palace, Bally, Bellagio, even Stratosphere. They can be dirt cheap (less than $100 /night) if you go in the off season and/or non-weekend.

I've been to Vegas many times. Personally I like New York NY..

I've stayed at the Monte Carlo a couple times and it is more affordable than the other strip hotels but still pretty good quality. It has the added benefit of being kinda middle-ish on LV boulevard, if that matters to you. I stayed at Mandalay Bay this year, which is at the southernmost end of the strip, and it certainly makes a difference to me.
