Holy ****, you really need some guts to do something like that!!
Reminds me of high rise construction here in the states back in the 1920s. No harness, no safety line, and no safety rails.

This would never be allowed in the US today. Huge fines and legal action would be imposed...of course driving the cost up and lengthening the schedule.

But also making for a safer environment for the workers.

Anyhow, this bridge, along with so much other infrastructure that the PRC is building allow the nation the type of transportation system it needs in this era, is simply phenominal. There are simply so many of them and they are going on all of the time. I picked this one because it reminded me of the huge Hoover Dam Bypass bridge in the US, the Mike O'Callaghan–Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge, that was constructed in Nevada between 2005 and 2010.

That bridge is an arch bridge, and is 1,900 feet long, about 1,000 feet above the Colorado River, and it too was a massive and very impressive project with a four lane freeway and pedistrian walkway.

Very impressive stuff in both nations.

I wonder what they get paid in relation to other construction people working in a relatively safer environment such as on the ground .Over here it would be Big money.

Adding to Jeff's post, Aizhai BASE jumping. One of the most dangerous recreation activities in the world.

Yes, I saw that they had an event there...actually officially allowing for it.

Doing so off of public bridges and buildings here in the States will get a person a fine or arrested.

Amazing the one guy going over in a wheel chair.

We got another 4" of snow last night (a little over 10 cm) and now have about 8-9" on the ground.

Forecast today? Snow.

Tomorrow? Snow.

Sunday? Snow, maybe mixing with rain.

We may get another 8" out of this (another 20 cm) or more. In the mountains they are expecting a total of over 2 feet (24" or about 61 cm) out of this one storm...on top of what they already have.

Wow! We have nothing to complain about as far as snow is concerned. We have about 6 inches on the ground. So far this season we've had 27" total. We've had snow on the ground since before Christmas. And because of the frigid conditions..That snow ain't goin' nowhere.

We got snow on December 3rd or so, and except for a 3-4 day break the last week or two of January (whenever it was) we too have had it on the ground ever since...and now more is coming.

There early in December had some really frigid cold too with one morning at -22 below zero F. Not as cold right now. Highs in the low to mid-twenties in the days in the teens at night...though tonight we may get quite a bit of snow as a warm front moves in and raises the temperature to right at or below freezing and we get a bunch of that heavy wet stuff.

I wonder if that wheelchair stays with him as his chute opens?
