Oh, and BTW, did I forget to mention?

Don't leave your car windows open, even a little, when those winter storms come in there in Norlisk.

It's like, all right, you uncovered it. Now what are you going to do with it? The roads seem to be all completely buried under just as much snow, and there is no where to go.

The body language of those guys almost looks like to me that they are realizing this. LOL!

Now imagine living there. Snow covering your home, rising up to the 3rd story on apratment buildings. Imagine having to shovel it off roofs to keep them from caving in. Think of trying to get to the store or market...or even just taking a walk outside!

I would love to live in those surrounds. It could even be safe enough to try base jumping....Using google maps, one can ski everywhere.
Refrigerator salespersons could find it a struggle to make a living there though.

Look at that:

I'm going to go see them this summer! I just checked: a low cost airline flies from Prague to Bari, and then it should take just one hour by train to get to Taranto; travel expenses about $300 round-trip

What happens when the snow starts melting??? All that water needs to go somewhere, for sure.

I posted the following on my wife's Facebook page this morning. It's Valentine's Day, and we were engaged on this day 36 years ago.

A MOUNTAIN MORNING
A Song for Gail Head
By: Jeff Head (1982)

Our love is like a mountain morning,
Awakes the best part of me.
Each time you're near, it's a brand new dawning,
Crytsal clear for all the world to see!

Like a clear clean morning can brighten up a day,
Our love brightens our lives in every way,
The rising sun, and the morning star,
They speak of our love.

'Cause, our love is like a mountain morning,
Awakes the best part of me.
Each time you're near it's a brand new dawning,
Crystal clear for all the world to see!

In the dead of Winter, or in the late Spring,
A morning can be such a wonderous thing,
In times to come, as our seasons change,
Our love will light up oure lives!

Our love is like a mountaoin morning,
Awakes the best part of me.
Each time you're near, it's a brand new dawning,
Crytsal clear for all the world to see!

This is as true now as it was the day I wrote it. Even more so, now on this 36 anniverdsary of our engagement.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY SWEETHEART!

I posted the following on my wife's Facebook page this morning. ...

Jeff I didn't know you wrote poetry ... I'd think you only write "poetry" of the war at sea ... Anyway, it's 10:48 pm in Montana so enjoy the rest of Valentine's Day! (it's over here :) 0648 hours of February 15)
