Just survived one of the most horrendously paced Summer semester class with an A-. Had 25% drop rate and two mid-term tests within a two-week period. Grad school keeps uping the ante with its WTF workload/difficulty level.
If you are having a hard time...for whatever the reason. If you are feeling way down. Then listen to this song...and internalize the great message.
I was listening to it on the way into work and just felt I needed to share it here.
Well my Granddaughter is playing it for the 3rd time, and the Honey Badger loves this song as well! thanks Jeff!
Very glad she liked it my friend.Emma is staying with us for a few days before her school starts, and she wanted to hear that song again this morning, so we fired that little video up again, beautiful song, about a beautiful Savior, by a beautiful Christian Lady. Can't go wrong with a winning combination like that? thanks again Bro Jeff, Emma just loaded that song on the lap-top, guess we will hear it again!
The most amazing static ship model I have ever seen. A scratch built, 1/72 scale USS Enterprise, CVN-65. 60 feet long, five feet wide. He worked on it for 20 years. Ann inspiration
Then there is this...an actual 1/24 scale working model of the HMS Invincible. 31feet long. Weighs 1.5 tons and powered by a 5hp moter capable of 7 knots. The most impressive overall ship model (IMHO) of all time.
I actually conversed with the owner of the Invincible model by email fro some time. he is older now and the vessel spends most of its time in a barn on his property. He has tried to get museum and the RN to take it...but been unable to (as of 2013).
Hard to imagine...I suppose unless you experienced it. Those people are watching everything they have worked for, saved for, and purchased in terms of material possession, be destroyed in a few moments and then piled up like a huge rubbish heap. Can't believe some of the people nonchalantly strolling towards the hill when the waves and debris just right behind them. I feel like smack them on the head and yell RUN while watching it! The video got a little of the apocalypse feel to it.
