Adding to my previous post, was he an HJ-8/HJ-12 or a HJ-10 gunner? Those two roles are in two completely different types of units.

Unfortunately, we do not have much shooting training. We spend most of the year training with anti-tank missiles.

That’s like REALLY bad. How the hell can they afford aircraft carriers an stealth jets, but can’t let frontline troops get enough range time.
He's an anti tank weapon operator, support troops usually doesn't get as much range time with rifle, they focus their training on their weapon system.
Also, outside of special forces western soldiers don't spend thousands of ammo a year at range.
Ah that makes a lot of sense then. Rifles are definitely a lower priority then for you guys.
