That would add an entirely new gun into logistics.Would it make sense for dmr to be bullpup for more barrel length?

Already have one type 88.That would add an entirely new gun into logistics.
At that point, wouldn't it better to just use a sniper rather than a DMR?I guess if China were to add a larger caliber ammo then longer barrel would make more sense.
Generally to a point. The DMR category only requires range and accuracy to a point.I guess if China were to add a larger caliber ammo then longer barrel would make more sense.
Sniper Rifles and Designated Marksman Rifles are category of role rather than design. The US M110A1 fits in both by different accessories and optic. The Soviets and PLA used the 7.62x54 round for their DMR well operating the 7.62x39mm (5.45x39mm) as their primary assault rifle calibers. The US, UK, Germany, France and many many more operate 7.62x51mm for DMR rifles as well as sniper rifles well using 5.56x45mm as the primary weapon. At that point, wouldn't it better to just use a sniper rather than a DMR?
Perhaps, but besides bullpup by nature has what a lot of shooters called "bad trigger feel", a lot of improvements would've to render on the QBU-88, which kind of defeat the purpose of designing a new AR platform to deal with DMR requirement as well.Would it make sense for dmr to be bullpup for more barrel length?
