I can never understand why people like putting these long-range scopes on an SBR. Even the lowest setting is still a bit high no?
Maybe SBR means elite, special forces. For example, russian SSO use AK105 alpha. US SOF use MK18 CQBR or anything else.use PLASF use QBZ95-1B. Special Force can afford these fancy things.

The SBR is just a short-barreled rifle. The weapon itself isn't special but it's used for close engagements, something SF has been doing a lot but that doesn't mean they are the only ones using them. A lot of rear-echelon also use them including naval personnel. Though that wasn't what I was talking about, I was curious about why they are using long-ranged scopes on a gun that can barely reach past 300 meters.

This should is the soldier's individual behavior, is used in the shooting range, the sight should be users to buy their own

Not always. Modern LPVO have a wide range of options. A few years back your choices were 3-10x power or 1-5x today they have expanded with 1-6x, 1-8x and 1-10x options the 1x power being about on par with a Red dot. For an SBR in a infantry formation that LPVO is handy for a defensive role though better to use a mini dot.
