I rhink the background is real, the cave is similar to the sub caves we seen in the past like in Qingdao.
I think the two subs are 093s, though I am not sure if the alterations were digital, or actual---physically made on the real subs to attempt to disguise them as 094s. Perhaps to act as decoys. I think the subs are real, but the backs are not.
In any case, I believe these are two 093s that we have not in fact seen before, the sensors in the front bow are slightly different from the 093 we have seen before. It looks too bad that the picture was spoiled. Its likely there are at least 3 to 4 093s now. I'm still trying to account for the mystery of the 093 in the PLA exhibition hall that does not have the diving planes in the sail.
In other Yuan pictures, I think the first Yuan have left Sanya back to a new base in the ESF. I think its being redeployed to join up with its newer Yuan siblings to form an all Yuan unit.

Some pics of the improved Han or 091G. Only early last year, the PLAN implemented a policy to put white warning markings on subs in areas where they have passive flank sonars. This is to prevent tugboats from bumping into the sonars and damaging them. Thus these white lines are indicative that the picture is recent enough, from 2007 onwards, and the subject submarine has passive flank sonar on below the marked location.
These three pictures last year would be among the most recent taken of a Han class, all indicating the improved type that has the passive flank sonar. I sort of notice some differences in the conning tower and markings on the body, one such difference is one sub have white rimmed windows, while the other is dark. This might seem to suggest there might be at least two 091G out there.
Compared to early Han pics, they seem to have this dark, smooth rubber coating not unlike the one we saw in the new Yuan.

They are in the same base, but I just didn't realize it was a base before, because it was all by itself there.
