The 052Ds probably too expensive for the Russian navy.

I mean yes they aren't that poor to not be able to buy some, but if they want to procure a greater number of them, we'll, not enough money.

I don't think there are any difficulties in acquiring 2 or 3 destroyer Type 052RU (Russian Type) hulls also because the armament, part of the systems, electronics and radar should be supplied and installed directly by the suppliers when they are in Vladivostock.
As I wrote, these 2 or 3 Type 052RUs must mainly serve the Pacific fleet and their number could be adequate to the needs.
The Pacific Fleet currently has the following destroyers or destroyers reclassified as frigates available
EX Destroyer Marshal Shaposhnikov Udaloy I class (1985)after refitting returned to service as a frigate
Destroyer Admiral Tributs Udaloy I class (1985) Deployed in the Mediterranean as of May 2022
EX Destroyer Admiral Vinogradov Udaloy I class (1988) upgrading to Marshal Shaposhnikov standard ad after refitting return to service as a frigate
Destroyer Admiral Panteleyev Udaloy I class (1991) Active as of 2022
Destroyer Burnyy Sovremennyy class (1988) Inactive since 2005

052D is actually cheaper than 22350.

Problem isn't price. Problem is there is lil point in procuring destroyers when you don't have an ecosystem for them.
Surface warship ultimately is limited by horizon, if there is no data environment to mitigate it - larger AA missiles and more powerful radar system will bring surprisingly little additional capability over that a good frigate already can give.
And in terms of strike 22350 is already second to none within its weight class, no matter heavy frigates or lighter destroyers.

Like I said, if they truly wanted they could get that money for 2-3 052s, but is it really worth it, especially for just 2-3?

Huh, the 052s are cheaper than 22350?

Didnt know that, as for data links and all that, seen some of Tan's post, so I do know a bit about that.

With rebuilding their wrecked army after the war, I highly doubt Russia will have a penny to spare for capital ships.

But I can see them buying engines and electronics.

because if they are guesswork, as second-hand units the Russians at most could perhaps only accept type 075s.

This is not even guesswork, rather extrapolation of Russian requirement for blue water surface combatants. Not much is in the pipeline at home - one aged CGN and one DD modernized and couple of 22350 frigates nearing completion.

from this some assumptions have been made on hypotheses not supported by official news. Therefore, those who posted laughing smileys entered them without having carefully read what was previously written concerning the phantom type 052D / RU. To return with our feet on the ground, as previously written, it is the Type 075 that could possibly be of interest to the Russian navy for the Pacific fleet.
