This reply from no_name strongly suggests that an atlas about China, published by an English company, is a superior source and 'proof'.
Good catch. I rechecked the source.
It was from "The Times Atlas of China" (published 1974 september), pg 115, edited by P.J.M.Geelan and D.C.Twitchett.
So it was from a atlas about China(!), published by an English company, showing SCS islands centered.

No, you presented the map as a Nationalist claim of Chinese territory, when it is clearly not the case.
Solarz, you simply do not know if he was dishonest or not unless you know the poster personally and know a whole lot more about how that post came to be..
That terms is basically calling the poster a liar, and without absolute knowledge of what the poster knew before, and what the poster's intent was...it is a term not to be thrown around lightly.
So unless you know these things, better from your perspective...or from any third party's perspective who does not know these things...to simply indicate that in your opinion the poster was mistaken.
