Evap water taste like water period. heck if anything it may 'taste' even better than regular tap water. It sure tasted a lot better than the water I drank in Thailand.

I've tasted freshly distilled water. I honestly cannot tell a difference between distilled water and bottled water. And when I say "freshly distilled water", I mean directly out of a distillation flask and a condenser and straight into a collection flask. And I drank it on the spot. fresh! A few perks of working in a lab...I can't taste any difference. And my dad actually once tried to use distilled water to brew tea since he heard from someone that it tastes better. He too cannot taste any difference. Any distillation equipment, be it big or small, work the same. You boil the "dirty" water and H2O vapor evaporate into a condenser, which is then collected. You will get H2O and nothing else in the collection container via this process because everything has its own boiling point. All those minerals will not turn to vapor at the same temperature as H2O, thus cannot be collected. You get 100% H2O. This is of course assuming you don't have anything contaminating the condenser and/or the collecting equipment...
Tap water tastes differently depending on location. I know water in Houston tastes differently than in Austin, Dallas or College Station.
Distilled water taste like a bit metallic and feels a bit dry after drinking. Bottled Spring water is more on sweetness but still a glorified tap water. We all know when we drink tap water, taste the iron then its totally tapped. I drank Dallas and Shreveport, Louisiana water, it has indescribable earthy taste. After moving to NY state, I never look back.

Also the keel for the new Turkish designed replenishment tanker for the Pakistan Navy has been laid in Karachi cant wait for it to be commissioned it will have medical facility's and will act as a command and control centre and will form a range of operations not just fleet replenishment
Hope it can refuel Chinese warships at sea and vice versa
