I will finish my PLAN Guangzhou, DDG-168 tomorrow and post pictures of that finished product.
Then a couple of more US builds (LCS-1 USS Freedom, and SSN-775 USS Texas) and both entire US Navy and PLAN CSGs will be complete. I have to tell you, they all look good together.
I also have to say that the Type 052B DDG is a heck of a pure, mullti-role destroyer. Can do all of the major missions well...Anti-air, ASW, ASuW, etc. Maybe not as good as a Burke in all of those roles...but certainly as good as amost any other DDG in the wold in the overall multi-role capability...particuarly with its own ASM 16 missile punch.
They need to upgrade those ASM missiles, IMHO, from the YJ-82 to the YJ-83 if they can I suppose, but they are strong nonetheless.
