^^^ Just saw that on cjdby too, was gonna post but late.

Is it a lot harder to take pics around there except for fly bys? Would have thought something like this would be difficult to hide.

Re: PLAN LHD/LPH/LHA discussion

If real, the 40k ton 075 would be an excellent reply to Japan's 27k ton hyuga successor, to show the PLANs keeping tabs on her neighbours movements, and won't be outdone (even if two LHAs would never actually meet in combat).

IF the speculation is true it would be a HUGE! PLAN building 30-40K ton LHAs has been whispered about in inner circles but that picture is indeed an LHA looks to be over 50% complete!

Could it be one of those stand-alone carrier module for showcasing, like what they did with the 056.

Was asking because someone points out that:

...it's the 2nd production line, which is operated by HD-ZH shipyard. ( 1st production line on the left is under responsibility of WGC shipyard and mainly builds VLCC/VLOC, and the 3nd production line is controlled by Jiangnan shipyard for military warship)

It doesn't look like the ones depicted in CGI impressions. The hull is different.

Which CGI is that? If you mean the mistral look alike, that was for export only and only displaced 20k+ tons.

This one for the PLAN should be displacing some 40k tons

The 056 module simulator was just that, a module. It didn't include a hull or anything. What we're seeing here is clearly a hull, with an island of some kind, and there seems to be a slot for an elevator. Now, without a clearer picture it coudl still turn out to be some kind of bulk carrier (I doubt it, but who knows), but it's certainly not some simulation module.

You don't need a ship to simulate a bridge or CIC as the 056 did.
