Well, this first one looks like someone superimposed a module onto the existing carrier. It does not fit.
The hanger will extend all the way across to each side of the vessel. This shows one side with a large amount of structure between the hanger and that side (to the left), and the other side not extending all the way across the vessel at all (the left).
This second picture is more interesting and seems to show a module being lowered in the yard.
Is that a part of the hanger?
Cannot tell. It could be, but there is not enough context to say so, and the superimposed picture does not look correct at all.
That second picture, if it is being lowered onto a hull, still shows a significant amount of structure between the end of the hanger and the side of the vessel. On the Liaoning, and on most carriers, the hanger extends all the way across the vessel at that level except for the wall of the hull itself.
One thing is for sure. If this is part of that hanger buildup, the next set of pictures of the vessel in full will show it. I will wait for that picture to say for sure.
