I thought my predictions were in line with those of the alternate group.

Isn't sinosoldier's prediction more in line with the second group (you, me and blackstone)?

I want to throw in a monkey wrench... Are you all betting on the timeline that these carriers be another liaoning or liaoning's-like or are we talking 80k-100k ton flat deck CVs i.e supercarries?

Personally I expect 001A from DL to have the same STOBAR configuration as Liaoning and maybe only slightly larger, and I expect 002 to be CATOBAR possibly with 80k+ displacement
... but I think adding these onto the bet will complicate things too greatly and tbh at this stage, with the knowledge we know, the size and configuration of the future carriers are still in flux

My guess is CV17 will have waist cats, and it's even money if it will sport a ski ramp. If no ramp, then cats will likely be same positions as the ex-USS Forrestal.

I'm of the same mindset as well. CV 17 let's call it improved liaoning and CV 18 will probably be similar to Kitty Hawk. Flankers are big birds but so are the f14s so dimension wise would work fine with only little modification to hanger bays and maybe the elevators.. But we shall see.
my tiny crack crystal ball tells me PLAN's Catobar will most likely look like the USS kitty hawk but with different island and bridge design. It will most certainly have APARs.
I do not personally believe it will have dual islands like the QE CLASS as depicted in some of the drawings floating around in other defence forums.
