yep, there tsting the new j-11 radar on it
those concept pics were nice, just the upgrade china needs for its flankers.

if it can get better at precision strike and general attacks (launching YJ-83 and stuff like that), I don't see why not.

Current PLAN budget spending is still low on the naval airforce part. Mainly they spend on three thing:
1. Navy's new Anti-ship/carrier missiles
2. Varies Subs and ASW weapons
3. Marine's over-all equipment upgrade and other minor overall PLAN upgrades.

that fh-7 is really fake...especially the missle
i hope china takes the fast way and buys migs and flankers for the first carreir, and later develop an indegedous carrier plane.

hmm...looks like a 70's design plane. not very stealty looking either.
but its an improvement. chinas first indegedous heavy fighter.
definitly not j-xx
