better have than not , if im xi-jinping i will do any backdoor thing to supply houthis/iran with more deadly missile so they can attack and sink US carrier drag US into another middle east war and then finish off taiwan

geopolitics have no place for mr nice guy that act soft , dislike dirty trick , too careful

Note that this is day 2 of the exercise and the action announced are different from yesterday.

Edit: Also the name seems to be given to today's exercise, and not yesterday's.

MLRS unit had a salvo fire from two vehicles at a simulated target of the Yongan LNG Terminal in Kaohsiung Harbor, firing a total of 16 300mm guided rockets. CCTV live broadcast of the landing point. But Ayi believes that this is actually a simulated target of the Sky Bow 2 on Dongyin Island

Taiwan LNG terminals , like the most critical infrastructure, it's on the West Coast.

进逼 (jìn bī) could mean "closing in," but in modern colloquial usage 逼 is a vulgar reference to the vagina 99% of the time

慑封 (shè fēng) could mean "fearsome envelopment," but 慑 is a very rarely used character. However, 慑 does have the same pronunciation as 射, which means to ejaculate 99.99% of the time when it's used with 逼. So it's almost certainly meant to be a pun on 进逼 射疯，"penetrate and cum crazily".

I think 进逼 does have double meanings, but not in the way your interpreted. IMO another meaning of that is "DPP forced PRC to start this military drill", because 进 also can be refered to 民进党 DPP. This is very likely.
