Partially yes, because it’s one of many variables that need to be measured when conducting war. Plus, nukes only serve as a deterrent against complete conquest, and robotic warriors are far, far from being even used for logistics in austere environments.

I think that’s just the way they look, I highly doubt a country with the 2nd largest defense budget can’t properly feed their troops the more logical explanation is simply that’s how they look

Well, nuclear bombs and robotic warriors are just the symbols of two extremes. In between there are also machine guns, armoured vehicles, airplanes, missiles, and drones. Each one of them have made human physique a less and less requirement for winning wars.

Considering the fact that;

- The multiple Sino-Indian clashes and how they concluded
- PLACG literally jumping from ship to ship to arrest trespassers
- The thousands of videos of PLA food available, and I'm not talking about the MREs, but real food
- The basic common sense that people of different ethnicities have different physiques
- And even with the above point, there are pictures available of PLAGF looking like prime time Rambo
