Probably, look at the magazine from the concept design. That ain't 5.8. There's a lack of curves on that mag that you see in 5.8 mags. China has also been developing all kinds of experimental small arms rounds in the last couple of years. I say it's very probable that they do have something like the 9.39 in testing.
