Note I said among not the. There are probably some Khyber Pass maker's wears are more booby trap then rifle to.

During the Olympics I recall a few Type 88 DMR's showed up with Kahless scopes So the PAP at least is not above using Austrian.

It's not the OICW, so can we stop calling it by a the proper name of another weapon? Call it by what it is, an airburst grenade launcher assault rifle complex. AGLARC!

Chill Red, It might not be the XM29 but it's aim is the same. IF you want another term might I suggest Strategic rifle, Smart Grenade launcher Carbine, Super happy Boom stick with a cherry on top.:p

The Hawke series of rifle scopes are all made in China. The Sidewinder 30 is rated as one of the very best unless you want to spend silly money.

I use one myself and it really is a very good scope.

I think the issue isn't that China can't produce quality scopes, but more of one where the PLA logistics department is not willing to spend the kind of money necessary to buy those high end scopes.

With scopes, you generally get what you paid for, so there is a vast amount of different between a £100 scope and a £400 one even if they have the same specs.

Hopefully that is something the PLA is recognising and taking onboard as they build and develop their sniper forces.
