According to the captions, 5.8mm rounds fired from Type-95-1 can penetrate 8mm steel plates at a distance of ≤100 meters (or 110 yards). Presumably the ammo in question is the DBP10, and it goes without saying that the penetration figure cited doesn't represent the maximum.

sounds about right ,I have seen 556 can go though about 9.5 mm mild steel . People just don't realize how soft most of steel you see in daily life , armor steel need to be specially made to stop a bullet in a reasonable thickness.

Does anybody know how many QBZ-95’s (both 95 and 95-1) and QBZ-191’s are actually equipped with the new QMK-152 and QMK-171 sights? Is there a known percentage or are the sights sent out based on seniority?
