Could you please keep irrelevant off-topic banter to a minimum? Thanks.

Why the visible lasers tho?Special forces night exercise.

Why the visible lasers tho?
Wouldn't it be easier to scan for enemies using helmet mounted NVGs? Just seems like overkill having an IR laser for passive aiming and a heavy night vision scope.looks like they use the multi-purpose NVG for regular tasks and a gun mounted scope for fighting. this is a good combination, you don't need a good NVG for just walking, and if you come into contact with enemy you can simply use the gun mounted NVG to scan your surroundings.
Well a couple issues come in. First is the NVG zero returnable? Does the NVG mount bring it to zero every time you mount it on the weapon? Generally speaking this is a no. Even on the best mounting systems.Wouldn't it be easier to scan for enemies using helmet mounted NVGs? Just seems like overkill having an IR laser for passive aiming and a heavy night vision scope.

I think that those are 7.62x51. Look bigger and the walls are almost straight while 5.8 is more tapered. Also the bullet in the papper box looks like dark lacquer.View attachment 86698
Looks like they're still using steel casing. Makes sense given how much ammunition they need to produce I guess.
