With such a big round coming out of a short barrel at that speed, it's quite impressive. I wonder how well it does against a level 4 armor. If hypothetically the PLA adopted a clone of the Fury. It wouldn’t fit the QBZ191 or it’s family. The cartridge is just to big. Even if you made it fit it would blow apart the receiver.
They would have to design either a new variant with a receiver and bolt scaled up to a battle rifle or use the CS/LR18 NAR751 as the host.

Considering that assuming the barrel, chamber, bolt and springs are up to snuff it should perform about the same.

Yeah, I was mainly thinking about a new variant of the 192 which is built with the chamber pressure of the new bullet in mind. A new gun on an existing framework like the AR-10 is to the AR-15

Does anyone know if Hong Kong Police will adopt the CS/LS7 as their new SMG because no other countries want to sell it to HK. I already saw that no purchase agreement was made between CZ & HK Police, SIG MPX order cancelled, Russian firearms are not suitable for HK so obviously I believe CS/LS7 is the only viable option for them at the moment.

My money on MP5 clones now you can find on NORINCO export catalog.

But HKPF isn't really in a hurry to procure new firearms at this time, the current stockpile of parts should last them quite some time. More likely for them to procure from China is 9mm ammo in the short term, tactical gears in mid term, and perhaps firearms in mid-to-long term.

I'm sure we know all there is to know about the QBZ-95 itself, but I found this video to be quite well-made. If you skip ahead he goes into detail about alot of the aftermarket modifications that exist.

I’d say a good rule of thumb is that if they are not wearing official insignia, treat it as PAP/Police SWAT or just student/civilians/airsofters LARPing.
