Here is one I have been sitting on. Remember that PAP team that won a Swat competition in Jordan with AR15's well they might have been CQ-A's after all.

Most of the CQ-A seen are more or less plain Jane with tound polymer type handguards one of the ones seen though has a rail system with what looks like rail covers. all seem to be fitted with 4x power fixed magnification scopes that were seen being used by PAP team in Jordan and are seen on occasion on QBZ95's

the AR15 is one of the most popular firearms on the planet. Particularly in the west and especially among tactical teams. But civilian versions are evident and widely so makers out side the US include Germany, the Philippines, UAE, Russia, Singapore Taiwan and the PRC. The Chinese CQ series is imported to a number countries. But not the US. Although this means parts may be a option.

No surprise there, since increasingly Chinese manufacturers made plenty M16 AEG kits that are to-spec and with good weight balance (for one, the plant who supply major components for RealSword AEG is actually a real arms factory), so it's a matter of raw material and right tools to produce rifle kits.

More so semi-finished products in this case requires even less, because as long as the measurement is still within range, workshops in the US will nonetheless able to complete the whole thing, it's just that semi-finished kits imported from China will dramatically reduce the machine hours to complete a finish product.

What I find curious, however, is that can the US producers using these "raw materials" still -at least legally - claim their product is "made in the U.S. of A"?

Importation of arms into the US is not impossible just complicated. US law mandates a percentage of American parts and specifications. Think of it like this right now Toyota builds cars in the USA. How? They build some parts in there factories around the world send those parts to the USA where other parts have been built and assemble. The car is "built" in the USA and has a large number of American parts but also parts from Japan, China, Mexico and the like. The same would hold true here. The receivers would get American barrels, American gas systems, American pistol grips and buffer tubes American trigger, rail system pistol grip and stock. Parts of the bolts and buffer set. All American. This kinda thing is already done. Take the SL107 its based on a Bulgarian production of the AK101. Arsenal sends parts of the receiver, the barrel the magazines to the USA a factory in Los Vegas then sets to work with stocks forearms sights triggers bolts and piston.

Flame thower

Okay now seeing a Flame thrower makes sense. It seems the PLA is moonlighting as exterminators. This is a video of a PLA fire team engaging a Hornets nest. Mind you these are not the supped up bees of America or Europe, but Vespa mandarinia or the Asian Giant Hornet with a 2 inch length and 3 inch wing span. the reason for the call out? a young man was stung to death by these left overs form the Carboniferous.

Guys, is this PLA unit? I'm in China and in a military district but the soldiers are all wearing digital camo even down to their canvas shoes. Nothing like this video and mustaches are a no-no in Chinese military from what I've seen.

No the uniform, badge, and rifles don't look like standard PLA issue. Plus PLA soldiers don't sport a mustache.

Thanks for the confirmation. I can't see the rifle clearly but the shoulder boards looked wrong besides the uniform camo. Plus the moustache.
