The more significant development is that their helmet and shoulder emblems no longer scream 'shoot me!' with their ridiculous bright colours.

I really want to see that optics on that CQW-05. It looks like it has two lenses one on top of the other. Very interesting.

But its good to see the silenced CQW-05s replace the Type 85. That gun just looked too much like a toy for my liking, and there were worrying reports about it's durability, but those might be exaggerated.

They still need to put cammo on their hands or wear dark color gloves.

In picture two they were wearing gloves, but is that still stick grenades they are carrying?
Stick grenades can be thrown further than round designs.

the front and rear sights. would be my guess For a PDW a proper choice would be a red dot. As for the lack of bright colors well this looks more like a "field" Set up for course we all know these photos are propaganda pieces but still subduing seems too be moving along although those helmet patches still look like batman style ( The yellow bat emblem dead center of the chest daring the Gotham criminals too take potshots and test there aim.) bulls eyes.
As for gloves dexterity is the prime issue, only top of the line models really allow the protectiveness, breath ability too really make them a need. most of the time depending on conditions they are more an accessory. It's like Camouflaging boots some thing that is slowly happening among some makers does seeming advantage equal the expense? In some's view yes but not others.
