Those are likely Chinese units with a near identical cut. the Pakistan are likely wearing a commercial copy of Personnel Armor System for Ground Troops helmet. Also I think those Rifles are Type 81 assault rifles.
It's almost Identical too any other AK clone on the out side but that stock is worn by both the 56 and the 81. the Pakistan Army is known too be users of the type 81.
As For the Glasses Wolf You are probably right. But More and more Body armor is working it's way even too SF remember a lot of modern Plate carriers are getting smaller lighter and more functional.

I'm afraid you're wrong this time about the type 56 or 81. The main difference between the two rifle is their muzzle. Unfortunately, none of the pix above shows the rifle's muzzle. However, in the link below, you can see one and it is type 56.
