is it me or do those guns held by the 2 at the right look like pump action shotguns with magazine attached? :confused:

Humm??:confused: Now that I'm taking a close look at the weapons you could be correct. I know the cops in the US years ago(35-40) called that a "riot gun". You certainly can see the "pump" handle.

The shotguns this unit is armed with is called the "Hawk" and has several versions. At least according to internet sources I left a link to these shotguns. Also I think several pages back in this thread there are pics of another squad of guys armed with shotguns.

KARACHI, Pakistan, March 14 (Xinhua) -- Chinese naval destroyer "Guangzhou" left here Saturday afternoon at the end of ten-day "Peace 09" military exercise at the Arabia Sea off the southern Pakistani port of Karachi.

Military Attache at the Chinese embassy Major General Li Mengyan, Consul-General in Karachi Chen Shanmin and Rear Admiral of the Pakistani navy Kamran were among some 150 Pakistani sailors and Chinese at the port to see off the Chinese ship and its sailors.

Earlier, a flag-lowering ceremony was held at the Pakistan Navy Dockyard, marking the end of Exercise AMAN 09. This is the second exercise of AMAN series. AMAN is an Urdu word meaning "PEACE". Slogan of AMAN exercise is "Together for Peace".
