Maybe..maybe not. As someone that was actually in two USN helo squadrons I can tell you that helo rotor blades can dip. Also helo blades require different positions to lift ,turn or land a helo. Those cameras or what ever type devices on the top of the cockpit are in great peril..in my opinion.

When looking at the angle from the rotors to the cockpit, it seems the camera should be able to survive even if the rotors are dipping at their max. Given they are not mounted in a way that will make them chop the cockpit to pieces..
Of course, I agree it's a somewhat unecessary risk to take. I know optical military equipment is -extremely- expensive
