I wonder if this tank uses Turbo-Electric hybrid powerplant. There seems to be no exhaust on either side, there is only one big exhaust on the center back, with 4 intakes on its sides. It is similar to Abrahams tank.
Theres basically next to 0 advantages for using a gas turbine RN, we heard the tank drive on down the road and it doesn't seem to have that distinct turbine whine of Abrams and T-80s. It should be using their next generation diesel engine for maximum efficiency and performance. This tank has a single exhaust probably because they wanted to minimise signature and the weird exhaust shape(Hexagon?) is probably there to reduce IR/radar signature.I wonder if this tank uses Turbo-Electric hybrid powerplant. The reason that I think so is that an ICE can have two exhausts easily by just grouping half of the piston exhausts to one side and the piepes can be conviniently bent and routed. Turbine can only has one exhaust because of only one combustion chamber and the most practical way (if not the only way) is to have it straight to the back because unlike ICE bending turbine exhaust is a no-go.
With hybrid electrical drive train turbine could be even more economical than ICE. Although it may be a challenge to US army, China has no problem in introducing hybrid power plant as far as to ICBM TEL.
We know the new tank have a suspiciously large bump on the turret that either is a RWS or some kind of jamming gear or both. With a EO ball on the turret and some decent software with some mod technically most RWS could do anti drone work.I think they are developing mini anti air turrets against drones on the new tank? Thoughts? seems like a good idea like a birdshot turret against drones?
What podcast? Regardless, this has been speculated for years (and this is reflected in this very thread) since it makes all the sense in the world. Perhaps they´ll also fly the new airplane prototypes.Latest podcast mentioned that there is a high chance that we'll see the next generation MBT in the VJ parade.
Guancha Trio's latest podcast, but J-36 and J-XDS is never gonna be shown off at VJ this year. At best likely just some J-35/A formations. They mentioned VJ parade is going to be mostly focused on ground because well there's only so much you can show in detail in the air, you can't even tell apart J-20/A/S from the underside nor can the average guy tell the difference between Y-20A and BWhat podcast?
