That's the point, that post was from Feb 2015, actual photos came out around summer 2015.
People only noticed the dual-fuselage paper after he posted the drawing along with WZ-7. There are countless papers of different drone configurations and 6th gen concepts, accurately predicting two large and unique drone platforms months before photo isn't something you can pull off just drawing random concepts in papers.
If you haven’t noticed there’s a drawing from 草根 in the post. It’s just a reproduction of what was in the paper, not what the final airframe looked like. The point is he didn’t have special knowledge about the project.

There are hundreds of papers of various drone configurations, the special knowledge is in knowing which one is real and which one is just a paper. The fact that we're even talking about him is because he's not just an artist very lucky with picking which concept to draw.

His drawing didn’t come out before the conversation about the Divine Eagle did. We’re talking about him because *you* think he’s got special knowledge. He has never broken news.

Its your prerogative to believe it's all a coincidence.
The fact that the last 8 pages were all about a post referencing his drawing kinda suggest not everyone think so.

Over my 15 plus years of PLA watching lots of people have spent lots of pages talking about lots of supposed leakers that turned into nothingburgers. The point of fact finding is to exercise due diligence, not to follow the vibes of a crowd. 草根 has been present for a decade plus and in that decade plus many have attributed more leaks to him than he was actually responsible for all because they want to think his drawings are special signals (he has to be precise been responsible for 0 leaks).

There are never any leaks, you either have clearance to make obfuscated posts or you get in trouble, there will never be such thing as an official PLA confidential program illustrator if that's what you're looking for.

As I said, it's your prerogative to believe he's just very lucky in picking just the right papers and just the right what-ifs. My experience from also 15 years of PLA watching is there's a big difference between random guesses and informed "guesses"

Call “leaks” whatever you want to call them. It doesn’t change the point about 草根.

He wasn’t “lucky” in picking the papers. His drawings always come after someone else “leaks” some information, and then he likes to draw his own ideas in his spare time (like his shortened J-20). Informed or random guess a guess is a guess. I can make “informed guesses” that can look right in a few weeks too. Guesses are not “leaks”.

(Like seriously, I don’t know why you bothered nitpicking about the term when it’s literally called 暴露).

Since this thread is about 6th gen, who do you think leaked the 3 engine concept first for him to draw, or do you think Cute Orca is just trolling everyone?
