A VR model of a submarine. Note the conning tower is rendered transparent. The front of the sub faces left and is obscured. I'm sharing it here because am not certain which type this is (probably either Song or Yuan).

Recent updates on the PLAN Submarine Force (PLANSF):
1. Current development (of the submarine fleet) involves both nuclear and conventionally-powered submarines, with focus on nuclear-powered submarines.
2. The normalization of patrols at sea by nuclear-powered submarines.

This person interviewed is Wen Xuexing (文学星), should be commander of a certain submarine detachment in the PLANSF.

Are the USN sending warships close to this area or something? Is that the possible reason(s) why PLAN is sending additional assets?
