Not sure where to put this in correctly!

Just translated: "The attack of a certain courier on the aircraft carrier was not just as simple as opening a hole in the deck, but also deforming the entire hull. Of course, it should not be to the point of being blown up and sunk, but it was basically destroyed."

This probably belongs in the ballistic missile thread because the paper is a study on the destructive effect of "strategic weapons" (战略武器) on large and complex naval hulls (i.e. carriers).

Why don't you at least give us a summary of this 30-page report? What are the relevant points and passages? What are your thoughts on them?

Don't just lackadaisically copy and paste the report's title and think that suffices as a summary.

This forum isn't the place for low-effort information saturation.

I read it. Mostly stuff we already know. A bit out of date e.g. re diesel engines for Thai boat and Hangor class. A few factual errors, such as saying the first sub out of the new Huludao halls was in January 2023 when in fact it was May 22.

The Only thing interesting is this: Sensitive ASW and undersea warfare-related technologies including hydroacoustic sensors, underwater communication, and underwater robotics are already being jointly researched by Russian and Chinese institutes, including in the context of the “Association of Sino-Russian Technical Universities” (中俄工科大学联盟, abbreviated ASRTU) that was formed in March 2011 and is headquartered in China’s submarine hub Qingdao.
