Sextants Wow that's pretty old school sea man ship training. I suppose in preparation for a strike against BeiDou. I would presume modern naval ships have Inertial Navigation as a backup. INS is what subs use. Still the thought of a sailor taking a noon sight on 003 to get a fix on it's position is a pretty surreal thought.
