It seems the Chinese have come up with a plasma cannon that greatly enhances the speed and range of the cannon

The report said that this could be mounted on a tank. I don't see why this won't be applicable to ship mount cannons.

dry dock shows 3 x Type 052D and 1 x Type 055

and yes next to it another Type 055

so overall we have 2 launched from JNCX and 2 from DL

2 more under construction at JNCX and now 2 from DL

4 launched 4 under construction

as of now 8 units identified
